Select
wide belt sanders are delivered in working widths of 900, 1100 and 1300 mm in
different combinations of contact roller, sanding pad and combi unit. A combination
from 1 to 3 sanding units is possible. Also as far as the Select range goes,
the machine is constructed to a customised specification based on the requirements
of the client.
If
the Select machine is specified with an ëair-cushioní laminated
table, an electronic controlled sanding pad or a segmented sanding pad, the
machine can be effectively used to sand veneer. It is likewise possible to equip
the machine with a structuring brush so that solid wood and veneered parts can
be textured.
The top sanding wide belt sanding machine Sandrite is meant for the smaller
company for sanding solid wood and, depending on the equipment, also for sanding
veneered workpieces. The machine is available in two basic models and has a
working width of 1100 mm. Through the excellent price-quality ratio the investment
in a Sandrite machine will be soon recovered.
The
Sandrite C is a sanding machine with 1 combi unit (contact roller + sanding
pad). This type offers the possibility to calibrate and sand the finish. Some
standard features of the machine are the electronic sanding belt tracking, pneumatic
sanding belt tension, elektromotive height adjustment, digital read-out feed
table position, heavy sanding belt motor power, heavy frame construction.
The
Sandrite KC is equipped with one contact roller and one combi unit. This type
has more possibilities : the same result can be obtained in just one pass whereas
with the type C you need two passes. At the same time the second sanding unit,
the combi unit, offers two different possibilities for finishing : sanding with
2 contact rollers for a perfect result on workpieces which need to be cross
grain sanded or sanding with the contact roller and the sanding pad for a perfect
result on panels which are to be sanded in the wood grain direction.
When
desired the basic model KC can be equipped with an electronic pneumatic controlled
sanding pad (EP) or with a segmented sanding (SP) on the combi unit. In this
way veneer sanding will be possible. Options for all Sandrite models are an
infinitely variable feed speed, sensor for automatic adjustment of the workpiece
thickness, air jet belt cleaning device and in- and outfeed roller tables.
