Planing and sanding

Within the Elite range several other applications exist which show the philosophy of Boere to deliver tailor-made sanding solutions for individual customers. The knife planer/sander is such an application : single pass planing and fine finishing.

Elite TP

The top working machines of the Elite TP range have a planing unit preceding one or more wide belt sanding units. The knife planer/sander is used for larger stock removals. The cutterhead in the planing unit provides for levelling and/or calibrating the panels to thickness after which they are sanded. The final finish to be obtained in one pass depends on the number of sanding units behind. The machines are available in working widths of 900, 1100 and 1300 mm and can be equipped with different types of cutterheads and combinations of sanding units. This depends on the type of material to be machined and the required finish result.
