The company of Grützmacher Maschinenbau GmbH soon concentrated on offering special solutions to companies from different branches of industry. This measure brought the young company a significant upswing. In 1976 the company moved to a newly erected production hall with adjoining administration. In the following years, continual investment was made in modern (CNC) machine tools in order to ensure the conditions for high-quality, specialized mechanical engineering. This included wire hoop-casing machines, telephone book printing machines and conveyors and many others.
In
order to use these CNC machines to full capacity, Grützmacher took on farming-out
production in the field of mechanical engineering for other companies in the
region. This developed over the years into a second pillar of the company. Today
the Grützmacher company is a reliable partner for farming-out production,
with a large number of customers all over Germany and in neighboring countries.
Through the possibility of working as a supplier, contact was made with the company of KED-Ehemann. This company was one of the market leaders in heavy duty sanding in the wood processing industry.
In 1989 KED had to go into liquidation. In 1990, Grützmacher began with the intensive development of new industrial sanding machines, for glue binders, parquet, battens and many others.
Today a wide range of sanding machines is produced, although the main focus of production is still machines for industry. Due to cooperation with other sanding machine manufacturers, various sanding machines can also be offered today for skilled trades.
